The rolling green hills of the Welsh countryside provided a vibrant and contemporary backdrop for Rhiann and Tom’s June wedding at the stunning Sugar Loaf Bar. Nestled in the heart of Monmouthshire, this stylish venue brought a fresh, modern feel with its clean lines, panoramic views, and relaxed atmosphere perfect for a joyful summer celebration filled with love, laughter, and florals bursting with colour.
From the very beginning, Rhiann and Tom envisioned a wedding full of personality nothing muted, nothing too traditional. They wanted their flowers to feel like a celebration in themselves: joyful, expressive, and full of energy. We leaned into a palette of bold brights pinks, oranges, yellows, corals and soft purples—drawing inspiration from early summer gardens and sunset skies.
BRIDAL BOUQUET
Rhiann’s bouquet was a show-stopping explosion of colour and texture. Featuring bold statement flowers the bouquet was expressive, yet beautifully curated perfect for this fun willed wedding day.
BUTTONHOLES
For Tom and his groomsmen, we created vibrant buttonholes to complement their dark suits and floral ties. These small but striking details added just the right splash of colour and personality.
BRIDESMAID BOUQUETS
The bridesmaids carried relaxed hand-tied bouquets in the same joyful palette as Rhiann’s. Slightly more petite, they still made a big impact against their dresses.
CEREMONY
On the venues outdoor wooden structure we suspended colourful flower arrangements above the couple as they exchanged vows. Floating flowers in pinks, purples, and yellows created a dreamlike effect, framing the ceremony space without overpowering it. Modern, and utterly unique—just like Rhiann and Tom.
TABLE DETAILS
For the reception, we kept things relaxed and playful with bud vases brimming with stems for a fun, informal vibe.
