Golden sunflowers, rich jewel tones and the warm Cotswold stone of Cripps Barn created the dreamiest backdrop for Adam and Katy’s vibrant wedding in the heart of the countryside.
Set amongst rolling meadows and ancient woodland near Cirencester, Cripps Barn is one of the most iconic venues within the Cripps & Co collection, known for its romantic flagstone floors, roaring fireplaces and beautiful candlelit barn ceremonies.
The vision for Adam and Katy’s flowers was colourful, modern and full of personality complementing the rustic elegance of the barn perfectly.
Ceremony
The ceremony space inside the barn was dressed beneath the venue’s iconic chandelier with overflowing floral meadows filled with sunflowers, dahlias, roses, cosmos and seasonal foliage.
The warm stone walls and candlelight inside the barn created the most atmospheric setting for the couple’s vows. We created a huge, full wheel suspended from the ceiling which created an intimate space and was enjoyed all day and night. We also created a bespoke fireplace design which sat behind the couple as they said their vows.
As guests entered the barn, they were welcomed by the scent of fresh flowers and flickering candlelight. This created an ambience that Cripps Barn carries so beautifully.
Buttonholes
Adam and the groomsmen wore a blue patterned suit with buttonholes to tie everything together effortlessly.
Floral Styling Throughout the Barn
Following the ceremony, guests moved into the reception space. We added lots of foliage to the beams to soften the look and create a soft, intimate space for the reception. We then styled the long tables with colourful bud vases and candles running through the centre.
One of our favourite design moments was the floral installation surrounding the fireplace. This became a stunning focal point throughout the evening celebrations.
Outside, guests enjoyed drinks beside the fire pits overlooking the beautiful Gloucestershire.
