Autumn flowers dont have to just be inspired by the natural world they can be inspired by the supernatural gothic tones of the season to. Here’s a throw back to a couple who’s wedding showed this off perfectly! The morning began with anticipation as I made my way to the Mount Without in Bristol, a truly unique venue full of character. The gothic setting and the excitement of creating something bold for Amy and Trevor’s day filled me with creative energy as I prepared to set up their wedding flowers.

BRIDAL BOUQUET
Amy’s bouquet was a dramatic arrangement that reflected the season perfectly, a mix of depth and richness with striking tones of black, red and touches of gold. It was both romantic and powerful, just right for the gothic theme.
BRIDESMAIDS BOUQUETS
The bridesmaids carried smaller designs that echoed the tones of the bridal bouquet, each one complementing their gowns beautifully. The overall look was harmonious while still making a statement.
BUTTONHOLES
Trevor and his groomsmen wore buttonholes that carried the gothic styling throughout. With Trevor’s pinstripe suit and leopard print collar, the details tied the theme together in a way that felt both stylish and personal.
CEREMONY
The ceremony space was set with atmospheric flowers, enhancing the unique beauty of the Mount Without. The rich tones and dramatic styling framed the vows perfectly in this iconic Bristol venue.
WEDDING BREAKFAST
For the wedding breakfast the crypt was lit by candlelight and surrounded by flowers that continued the theme. The dark and golden palette glowed in the warm light, creating a truly unforgettable atmosphere.
Thank you Amy and Trevor for trusting me with your gothic wedding flowers at the Mount Without Bristol. It was a joy to create black red and gold flowers that matched the unique styling of your day. If you are planning your own Bristol wedding and are searching for dramatic flowers for your ceremony and reception I would love to hear from you.
