Arriving at Dewsall Court on the morning of the wedding was such a wonderful moment. The previous few days had been wet and unsettled and the skies were still slightly overcast as we arrived, but the forecast promised a glorious burst of sunshine later in the day. That sense of anticipation added to the excitement and we could not wait to get started. We knew this wedding was going to be filled with mega florals and the kind of statement design that allows us to really showcase what we can create for a celebration of this scale.
BRIDAL BOUQUET
The bridal bouquet was a masterpiece of soft white flowers carefully chosen to reflect both elegance and romance. Each flower was selected for texture and tone giving depth and movement while keeping everything cohesive in that timeless all white palette. It set the perfect tone for the ceremony and the rest of the day.
BRIDESMAIDS BOUQUETS
The bridesmaids’ bouquets were slightly smaller versions of the bridal bouquet. They mirrored the same soft white flowers and textures creating a harmonious look that complemented the bride perfectly without overshadowing her statement bouquet.
BUTTONHOLES
For the groom and his groomsmen we created elegant buttonholes. Each one reflected the bridal palette with delicate white flowers and greenery, providing subtle yet refined details that tied the wedding party together beautifully.
CEREMONY
The ceremony was held outside under a magnificent willow which created an incredible natural backdrop. Getting to the location required a careful walk across the churchyard, but it was worth every step. The aisle was lined with lush meadows and at the front we designed a stunning broken arch filled with flowers, creating a striking focal point. The combination of natural surroundings and our floral design made the ceremony an unforgettable experience for everyone.
WAINHOUSE BARN TRANSFORMATION
Next we moved into Wainhouse Barn. For the couple’s wedding breakfast we created some of my favourite florals this summer. A trio of gyp clouds were suspended among the fantastic beams of this barn. All of the beams were softened with greenery draped across them and beneath this beautiful ceiling of flowers was a really long dining table. We designed a twenty four foot table runner overflowing with flowers and textures which created the most incredible centrepiece for the room.
To complete the transformation we repurposed all of the aisle meadows to the ends of the tables and placed the broken arch from the ceremony at the entrance of the barn. This created a fully immersive experience with flowers everywhere the most beautiful way to celebrate with family and friends in such a special setting.
This wedding at Dewsall Court was a joy from start to finish.
