Kin House was already a venue I wanted to work in before I moved to the South West, and since having the pleasure of working with them last year for their red and pink Christmas party, I have been thrilled to collaborate with them. Throughout 2024, I have provided venue flowers and wedding arrangements at Kin House. So, when Ann Marie and Andrew contacted me asking for my signature bright and colourful wedding flowers for their special day at Kin House, I knew it was a match made in heaven! Not only is every space in the venue immaculately finished and beautifully designed, but it’s also a wonderful venue to work at as a supplier due to its great access and magnificent spaces.

CEREMONY
Ann Marie and Andrew’s ceremony was held in the gorgeous garden room, adorned with vines growing up the internal walls and ceramic pots creating beautiful details wherever you look. This calm, peaceful space brings the outside in, making it the perfect place to add big, bouncy, abundant meadows along the aisle, brimming with bright British flowers to evoke an English country garden feel. This was a true treat for the couple’s American guests. At the head of the aisle, a pair of asymmetric plinths were topped with abundant floral arrangements. Beech greenery extended the pieces, with sweet pea stems draping over the edges. The stunning stems in every colour, using a refined palette of bright pastels, complemented the decadent decor. The plinths looked simply stunning at the end of the aisle, perfectly framing the couple as they said their vows.

BRIDAL BOUQUET
For Ann Marie’s bridal bouquet, I used the very best seasonal flowers, including garden roses as a nod to the garden house ceremony space, dual-toned dahlias to add texture and drama, and softened the modern floral bouquet with delicate, wispy British-grown scabiosa and cosmos to give the bouquet a romantic, whimsical finish. This worked beautifully with Ann Marie’s modern, lace-detailed wedding dress.

BUTTONHOLES
For Andrew and his groomsmen, the bright, fun florals continued. Using my favourite bubblegum pink spray roses, I combined this statement flower with sprigs of British-grown lavender, again as a nod to the garden room ceremony space, with bright orange zinnias and a touch of pittosporum to add rippling romantic leaves.

WEDDING BREAKFAST
Ann Marie and Andrew opted for round tables in Kin House’s impressive wedding breakfast space. We chose a mix of modern floral designs, combining peach and white candles in gorgeous glass candle holders with bud vases and Ikebana-style floral arrangements. The different designs added lots of visual interest to the tables and paired perfectly with the soft peach wedding stationery.

CAKE MEADOWS
For Ann Marie and Andrew’s cake table, we wanted to make a statement. Reusing the ceremony meadows, we clustered them under the cake table, paired with some extra bud vases on the table with the cake. This made for a fun shot captured perfectly by Sam Sparks Photography and stood out against the couple’s wedding outfits.
