Set within the tranquil grounds of the Matara Centre in the heart of the Cotswolds, this wedding was a true celebration of colour and creativity. From the moment guests arrived, the venue’s unique architecture and serene gardens set the tone for a day that was anything but ordinary. Against this stunning backdrop, bold and bright floral design stole the show—transforming each space with artistry and intention.
BRIDAL BOUQUET
The bridal bouquet made a statement the moment it arrived in the bride’s hands. A joyful explosion of colour, it featured a curated mix of vivid seasonal flowers arranged in a loose, structural style. Designed to be both artistic and one-of-a-kind, the bouquet had plenty of movement and space between stems, with unexpected shape combinations creating a modern silhouette. It perfectly reflected the bride’s vibrant energy and personal style.

BRIDESMAIDS’ BOUQUETS
To complement the bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids carried smaller versions using similar flowers in scaled-back arrangements. Still colourful and modern, these designs ensured cohesion across the party while allowing the bridal bouquet to stand out as the hero piece.

BUTTONHOLES
Bright and personality-packed, the buttonholes were crafted to harmonise beautifully with the bridal flowers. Each one was a mini work of art—thoughtfully selected stems, striking colours, and playful textures created little pops of colour that tied in with the overall design.
CEREMONY FLOWERS
The ceremony space featured contemporary floral plinth arrangements that felt as much like sculpture as they did florals. With plenty of open space between stems, the shapes were kept deliberately modern and asymmetric. Unusual stem pairings and bold colour contrasts ensured the theme remained exciting and innovative, adding dimension and energy to the ceremony setting.

WEDDING BREAKFAST
As guests entered the reception area, colourful floral clouds floated above the tables—creating an immediate sense of wonder and drama. These large suspended designs were a visual anchor for the room, helping to make the space feel cohesive and expressive. Below, the tables were filled with colour-rich flowers, layered textures, and playful combinations. Every element was full of personality, capturing the joyful spirit of the couple and the day.

It was such a pleasure to bring William and Lara’s floral vision to life at the beautiful Matara Centre. Their openness to bold ideas and fresh design made this a truly unforgettable project. If you’re planning your wedding in Tetbury or the Cotswolds and want flowers that are modern, expressive, and packed with personality—we’d love to hear from you.
