Reflecting on the Best Wedding Flowers of 2024

As we nearly wrap up the 2024 wedding season, it’s the perfect time to look back on some of our favourite weddings of the year. From bold and modern installations to romantic arches and opulent celebrations, this year has been all about creativity, colour, and unforgettable settings. Here are a few of my standout weddings.

Ultra Modern Colourful Elopement at The Guildhall, Bath

Bold, Flower-Heavy Installations at the Bath Assembly Rooms

This season, the Bath Assembly Rooms served as the ideal backdrop for several striking, flower-heavy installations. Known for its elegant Georgian architecture, this venue was transformed with bold, modern floral displays that took the classic elegance of Bath to a new level. We used lush, full flowers in reds, oranges, yellows and deep pinks to create show-stopping arrangements combining timeless grace with a vibrant, contemporary twist. These installations were bold, romantic, and a highlight of our year.

Spring Pastels and Bright Pinks at Kin House

Kin House welcomed us in spring, when we started the season with delicate, soft pastel florals. In shades of blush, lavender, and pale blue, creating a garden-fresh aesthetic that was nothing short of enchanting. Later in the year, we shifted to brighter pinks and vibrant pastel shades, giving Kin House a lively, energetic feel that matched the summer mood. Each event brought out a different facet of this venue’s charm, proving that Kin House is a perfect canvas for both soft elegance and bold statements.

Working with Wedding Planners: Red Veils and Grand Arches

This year, we’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with some incredible new wedding planners as well as reuniting with favourite planners we’ve worked with before. These partnerships allowed us to create some of our most ambitious designs to date, from towering arches to unforgettable floral installations. We even welcomed brides with daring red veils, thanks to Holly from Revelry Events, whose heart-shaped foil confetti we were happily discovering tucked into things for weeks! We also got to work at the amazing Euridge manor for the first time which was amazing.

Regal Celebrations at North Cadbury Court and Cleveden House National Trust

At North Cadbury Court, our floral creations matched the venue’s grandeur, showcasing we can design in our signature style even for more muted colour palettes. The historic setting demanded florals that felt opulent yet modern, so we incorporated flowers in pastel tones and intricate archways that seemed to seamlessly blend with the venue’s majestic ambiance.

Winter Weddings and Festive Florals

As we transition into winter, we’re excited to end the year on a high note with a grand wedding at Farleigh House and Coombe Lodge. The frosty season calls for deeper hues and rich textures, and we can’t wait to bring a winter wonderland to these stunning venues. And for those looking for festive inspiration, be sure to visit our Christmas installation at the iconic Roman Baths. It promises to be a breathtaking display, celebrating the season with rich holiday hues, twinkling lights, and a touch of historic splendour.
