Nestled in the Cotswolds, Owlpen Manor is a dream setting for a spring wedding – and Laura and Lewis’s day was no exception. Getting to flower in such a romantic and historical venue is always a joy, and the winding lanes leading to the manor only add to the charm of the day. Laura and Lewis chose a beautifully soft and joyful spring palette of pastel colours – fresh yellows, blush pinks, lilacs and soft greens. Their flowers were a celebration of colour and life, a perfect reflection of their kind, creative personalities.
BRIDAL BOUQUET
Laura carried a hand-tied bouquet full of texture and movement, bursting with spring colour. We used a mix of seasonal stems – all delicately pastel with the odd pop of citrus to bring it to life.
BRIDESMAIDS’ BOUQUETS
The bridesmaids had smaller versions of Laura’s bouquet – soft, joyful, and easy to hold. These paired beautifully with their dresses and made for a cohesive look throughout the day.
BUTTONHOLES
Buttonholes were crafted in matching pastel tones, with dainty florals tied with twine. We made sure Lewis and the rest of the wedding party had unique, hand-made designs that felt relaxed and personal.
CEREMONY FLOWERS
For their church ceremony, we created two large urns of spring flowers at the altar and dressed the aisle with tied bunches on the pew ends. After the ceremony, the urns were repurposed to frame the top table, ensuring the designs were enjoyed throughout the day.
WEDDING BREAKFAST TABLE FLOWERS
Bud vases filled with colourful spring stems lined every table at the reception, creating a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. The top table was set off beautifully by the repurposed urns from the church – a brilliant way to make the most of every arrangement.
