Arriving at Ash Barton Estate, you’re greeted by a venue that’s as full of charm as it is versatility. Tucked away in the Devon countryside, this incredible space is perfect for couples looking to infuse their wedding with personality and flair. Working alongside the talented team at Revelry Events UK is always a joy. Their knack for creating stylish, modern weddings makes them the perfect partner for showcasing my colourful floral designs. Lucy and Courtenay’s wedding was no exception—embroidered suits, red veils, and oversized heart-shaped confetti set the tone for a day full of creativity and love.
BRIDAL BOUQUET
For Lucy’s bridal bouquet, I aimed to create something as bold and stunning as her bridal look. Using statement blooms in vibrant reds, pinks, peaches, and a touch of yellow, the bouquet perfectly complemented her dazzling soft yellow-and-gold sequin gown and striking red frill-edged veil. Lucy truly embraced her unique vision, stepping into her wedding day with confidence and flair. It was a moment that left everyone in awe.
BUTTONHOLES
Courtenay’s buttonhole featured a vibrant cluster of red spray roses and yellow accents, ensuring he matched his stunning bride-to-be. This striking design stood out beautifully against his incredible blue embroidered suit. The rest of the groomsmen sported bright, mismatched buttonholes, adding a joyful touch to their looks. These playful floral accents highlighted the individuality of each person while tying them seamlessly into the vibrant wedding theme.
CEREMONY FLOWERS
For the ceremony, I designed a broken arch bursting with bold colours and layered textures. Using unique greenery and grasses alongside clusters of vivid blooms, the arch became a true showstopper, something guests had never seen before. The rich, tactile arrangements brought a sense of drama and natural beauty to the space.
To line the aisle, we created floral meadows—low, sprawling arrangements that gave the illusion of flowers growing organically along the path. These wild, colourful creations added life, texture, and vibrancy to the ceremony, setting the perfect stage for Lucy and Courtenay’s vows.
WEDDING BREAKFAST
For the wedding breakfast, the couple chose long trestle tables under a canopy of twinkling lights, creating a magical alfresco dining atmosphere. To enhance this intimate setting, we used an abundance of bud vases filled with cascading flowers in every colour imaginable. The result was a scene straight out of an Italian summer soirée—bursting with personality, colour, and love. It was the perfect backdrop for an evening of celebration with family and friends.
