As I walk through the doors of Kin House, nestled in the heart of Wiltshire’s picturesque countryside, I’m greeted by the inviting charm of this historic venue. My mind immediately begins to envision the perfect floral arrangements to complement its beautiful interiors. From the cosy dining rooms to the grandeur of the bar area and the eclectic event spaces, each corner of Kin House offers an opportunity to weave natural beauty into its already enchanting atmosphere.
In the dining rooms, I created a couple of floral pieces adorning the tables beside the fireplace, bringing a touch of nature to the already exquisite setting. Soft hues of lilac, lime, and blue paired with ombre Anthuriums in green and pink which matched the piece of artwork they stood in front of perfectly! These arrangements, serve as a focal point for guests as they gather for an occasion.
And let’s not forget about the quirky receptacle in the dining room, where I added playful pops of colour with vibrant poppies. Their ununiform wiggling stems seemed perfect for this other worldly vase. Set against a pastel backdrop, this unexpected floral accent added a dash of personality to the space, inviting guests to pause and admire their beauty.
Moving to the bar area, I filled the towering vase with overflowing flowers. Here, I used an abundance of bold and vibrant colours and textures to let the piece take centre stage, adding a sense of drama and sophistication to the space.
Outside the venue’s amazing event spaces, I created a cluster of small flowers nestled in an exquisite marble vase, adding a touch of understated elegance to each nook. This ???? arrangement, though petite in size, packed a punch with their beautiful scent creating a refined simplicity. They serve as subtle yet impactful pieces, seamlessly integrating with the venue’s amazing interiors, no wonder the space is so inviting to guests.
As I made my way to the drawing room, I created vessels brimming with interesting stems. The mixture of textured dried elements where perfect for this mirrored corner. There outstretching branches being reflected across the room creating shapes. Here, amidst the warmth of the fireplace, these arrangements created a sense of serenity and tranquillity, inviting guests to linger and savour the moment.
I am so excited about the amazing weddings we have coming up this year at Kin House. Each one is a unique opportunity to create something unforgettable and bring to life the vision of our clients. From intimate ceremonies to lavish receptions, I look forward to transforming this stunning venue into a floral paradise.
