Wreath making workshops are the best way to get yourself feeling festive and warm inside (with the help of a glass of fizz) even when the Hackney streets are wet and the sky is grey.
I’m so excited to have found the best venue for this years workshops – Make Town in Hackney. A studio full of colour and creativity where Brooke and the team teach everything from learning to crochet to making your own clothes. Sounds like the perfect place for an awesome wreath making workshop, right?

What’s a wreath making workshop?
Good question. In these workshops, you’ll create a gorgeous Christmas wreath from scratch, full of gorgeous decorations and Christmas-smelling spruce. You can hang your wreath on your front door, or you can also hang it inside to decorate a wall or have it on your Christmas table as a show-stopping centrepiece.
I’ll be there to walk you through the whole process of making, with a demo first and then off you go! They’re easy and fun to make and I’m always amazed by how different they all look at the end – even when everyone has the same ingredients! Of course, I’ll be on hand for any questions or general flower chit-chat.
Brooke and the team will also be on hand showing you how to make pom poms and other awesome decorations to make your wreaths totally ‘you’!
How long will the workshop last?
Wreath making workshops usually take about 2-2.5 hours, depending on how into the decorating you get!

Can I bring my own decorations?
You sure can! I’ll be providing gorgeous natural decorations including pine cones, cinnamon sticks, orange slices and whatever else takes my fancy at the flower market. If you have a specific colour scheme you’d like to bring in or family heirlooms you’d love to include then please do bring your own decorations along.
Can I bring friends/kids?
The more the merrier! Lots of people bring a friend or two as a fun, pre-Christmas activity. Wreath making workshops are suitable for kids aged 8+ as there are sharp wires and scissors involved but I find they absolutely love getting stuck into making them.
Is the workshop COVID secure?
We know this question is at the top of everyone’s minds and yes, Brooke has been working hard to ensure you can’t miss the sanitising stations and there’s plenty of room for everyone to work. Of course, we ask that you don’t join the workshop if you’re feeling unwell or asked to self-isolate.
How much is the Hackney Wreath Making Workshop?
The workshops are £70 each. This covers all the ingredients for your wreath, a glass of Prosecco and the guiding hands of myself & Brooke to help make your wreath look amazing.
I’m too far away!
I’ve got you. I know not everyone is can get to London easily so I’ve put together an Online Wreath Making Workshop where everything is delivered to your door and I’ll send you a how-to video so you can make along with me, whenever suits you!
